Location Matters

Your location matters if you are taking an online course or an on-campus course with an experiential learning activity (such as, but not limited to, clinical, internships, externships, student teaching supervised field experience, co-curricular courses, fellowships, seminars, etc.) outside of South Dakota. DSU does not provide the online programs or experiential learning activities in all states or countries. DSU must seek approval from the state the student is physically located in and/or the state the activity is taking place in. DSU has specific Federal and State regulations and SARA policies to follow.

Associate Degree: Typically a 2-year degree program that includes about 60 credit hours.
